Dr. D.Veerendra Heggade shares his 6th standard memories, being a Rajkumar fan. Thrilling moments during those days was to cycle from Moodbidri to Mulki to watch Kannada movies at Bhavani Shankar Talkies.
Remembering the Puri Eating Competition, Playing Cricket and Lagori. Having Masale Dose, Coffee at Indian Coffee House in MG Road and returning back home.
2. Growing up and Studying as Common People.
Studying at Siddavana Gurukula helped Dr. D.Veerendra Heggade to learn the life lessons during the early stages.
3. Dr. D.Veerendra Heggade shares his Bengaluru Memories
Studying at Seshadripuram High School for 2 years. Then shifted to English medium at St. Joseph’s in 9th standard. Heggade shares his passion for vehicles. Sometimes just to hear the engine sounds of the vehicle, he used to sit beside the road.
One such instance was, failing in all the subjects expect Drawing, made his dad warn him to take him back to Dharmastala. Later it was the other way round, failed in Drawing and cleared the rest.
4. Passion for Cars.
Here is one incident where at the age of 19 Dr. D.Veerendra Heggade remembers driving Chevrolet car all the way to Bombay with his dad.
The interesting fact is Dr. D.Veerendra Heggade used to take only 5 hours to drive from Bengaluru to Dharmasthala back then.
One must visit Manjusha Museum which houses vintage and classic cars collected from all across Karnataka in working condition even now.
Dr. D.Veerendra Heggade shares detailed insights of the Daimler car and the story of how he owned it.
Furthermore, 45 minutes into the show, he drives one of his cars – Herald.

7. The Bahubali Story
In 1973 a statue of Lord Bahubali carved out of a single rock, was installed at Dharmasthala on a hill near the Manjunatha temple. This statue is about
39 feet (12 m) high with a pedestal of 13 feet and weighs about 120 tonnes. This is one of the five stone statues of Bahubali in Karnataka.
Mr.Heggade shares the story of transportation of the gigantic monolithic statue.
