Meet Dr. Abhay Jain – A Covid-19 Warrior from Namma Bengaluru

The COVID-19 pervasive has brought the world to its knees. This pandemic has affected our lives in an unprecedented manner, but its impact on the lives of the underprivileged, and daily wage laborers has been horrific.

The vast majority of the planet is also struggling to keep up with the speed at which this deadly disease is spreading. Moreover, there’s a clear shortage of basic medical equipment like masks, sanitizers, and hazmat suits that the doctors fighting the widespread on the front lines require.

However, there are many people out there who have solely taken the initiative to help people in need during this situation. Here is one such instance of a Covid-19 Warrior who is setting an example and saving lives.

Dr. Abhay Jain has initiated relief services in numerous regions of Bengaluru city and rural areas of Bengaluru, at large to meet the pressing needs of the afflicted.

A recipient of an extremely prestigious award. The 28-year-old, Dr. Abhay Jain who was recently awarded Dada Saheb Phalke award as “Youth Icon” in Mumbai earlier this year has done tremendous work in these challenging times.

He has distributed more than 51,000 kits (consisting of masks, food, water
bottles, and buttermilk packets) to the needful who struggle to manage a simple meal. In addition to this, he has also given 1000+ kits of ration consisting of 25kg rice, lentils, sugar, etc to the underprivileged areas of Bengaluru.

This act of kindness by the Covid-19 warrior makes him one among the those who aim for a safe and harmonious future for mankind.
