A hill station and forest reserve in the Karnataka district of Chitradurga. At 3,803 feet, Jogimatti is the district’s highest peak and one of the coolest areas in the state. And a weekend getaway to the stunning Jogimatti won’t let you down at all. While exploring several excellent locations inside the reserve, you will come across dry deciduous woodlands. The British built a century-old cottage in Jogimatti, spread across 10,048.97 hectares of land, to house travelers.

4. Nersa – One of Lesser Explored & Offbeat Hill Stations in Karnataka

Nersa, a less popular hill station, is located in the Western Ghats Londa forest range in the Belgaum district of Karnataka State. It shares a border with Goa. It is the ideal vacation spot for a wildlife enthusiast and a bird enthusiast because it is in the dense forests of Mahadayi Valley.

Nersa provides a tonne of exciting experiences. Adventure tourism is very prevalent in the hills, mountains, and valleys.

5. Agumbe

At the height of 2100 feet in Shimoga, Karnataka, Agumbe is a charming hill station. Agumbe, known as the Cherapunji of the South, is home to stunning waterfalls, lush forests, and various rare species of medicinal plants, including garcinia and myristica. This hill station was the backdrop for the enduring TV series Malgudi Days.
