4. Golden Temple / Tibetan Monastery – Bylakuppe

Monastery’s tranquility and spiritual atmosphere welcome all guests. About 6 km from KushalNagar, the Tibetan Monastery is located.

One of India’s largest Tibetan communities is present here. The Monastery is the world’s most significant Nyingma teaching institution for Tibetan Buddhism.

5. Balmuri & Edmuri Waterfalls

Balmuri & Edmuri Falls, just a short drive from Mysore, is the perfect location. Falls is a constructed cascade on the Cauvery River featured in numerous Kannada movies. 6. Venugopala Swamy Temple 

An illustration of Hoysala architecture can be found here at Hosa Kannambadi, close to Krishna Raja Sagara. The Chennakesava Temple at Somanathapura, Mysore district, was also constructed in the 12th century AD, about the same period as this temple. 7. Railway Museum 

Mysore has an outdoor display of vintage locomotives called the Railway Museum. The second such museum follows Delhi’s National Railway Museum. There are locomotives and a gallery of images and artwork showing how India’s railway system has developed. Additionally visible are railway signals and lighting. A kid-friendly battery-operated miniature railroad runs throughout the museum’s grounds.
